Amy Burns
MOT, OTR/L

Occupational Therapist

Amy earned her undergraduate degree in Business from Pepperdine University and her Master of Occupational Therapy from California State University, Dominguez Hills. She is nationally certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) and licensed to practice in California.

Specializing in early intervention, Amy brings a comprehensive, child-centered approach to therapy. She has completed advanced training in Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT), Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI), Handwriting Without Tears, and Sensory Integration, among others. Her professional experience spans clinic, school, and home settings, and she has served as a consultant and educator in a wide range of academic, therapeutic, and entrepreneurial environments.

Amy is the founder and CEO of Village Pediatric Therapy Services, where she leads with a passion for empowering children and supporting families. She is also a proud mom of two.

Hannah Moore

Speech-Language Therapist

Hannah earned her undergraduate degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences and her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from San Diego State University. She is nationally certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and licensed to practice in California.

Hannah’s professional experience spans public schools, private practice, and home-based settings. She specializes in a child-led, heart-centered approach and is trained in the Natural Language Acquisition (NLA) framework, which supports gestalt language processors in developing self-generated, meaningful language. She brings a sensory-informed lens to her work, with training in understanding and supporting children with sensory processing differences.

As the founder and CEO of Open Door Speech Therapy, Hannah integrates speech- and language-based practices with nervous system-informed care. She also holds certifications in sound healing, breathwork and meditation, and is a Reiki Level II practitioner—believing that authentic communication begins with safety and regulation in the body. Her work is rooted in connection, play, and the belief that every child deserves to be heard in their own way.
