Established in 2024, The Speech and Sensory Studio provides comprehensive therapy services for children within our preschool and the wider community. Our highly qualified therapists and dedicated staff are committed to delivering individualized support that promotes communication, sensory development, and overall growth.
The studio operates during preschool hours and also offers scheduled appointments for community members.
Additional costs for services, including evaluations and sessions, will be discussed once an appointment is scheduled.

Meet Our Therapists
Amy Burns
MOT, OTR/L
Occupational Therapist
Amy earned her undergraduate degree in Business from Pepperdine University and her Master of Occupational Therapy from California State University, Dominguez Hills. She is nationally certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) and licensed to practice in California.
Specializing in early intervention, Amy brings a comprehensive, child-centered approach to therapy. She has completed advanced training in Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT), Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI), Handwriting Without Tears, and Sensory Integration, among others. Her professional experience spans clinic, school, and home settings, and she has served as a consultant and educator in a wide range of academic, therapeutic, and entrepreneurial environments.
Amy is the founder and CEO of Village Pediatric Therapy Services, where she leads with a passion for empowering children and supporting families. She is also a proud mom of two.
Hannah Moore
Speech-Language Therapist
Hannah earned her undergraduate degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences and her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from San Diego State University. She is nationally certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and licensed to practice in California.
Hannah’s professional experience spans public schools, private practice, and home-based settings. She specializes in a child-led, heart-centered approach and is trained in the Natural Language Acquisition (NLA) framework, which supports gestalt language processors in developing self-generated, meaningful language. She brings a sensory-informed lens to her work, with training in understanding and supporting children with sensory processing differences.
As the founder and CEO of Open Door Speech Therapy, Hannah integrates speech- and language-based practices with nervous system-informed care. She also holds certifications in sound healing, breathwork and meditation, and is a Reiki Level II practitioner—believing that authentic communication begins with safety and regulation in the body. Her work is rooted in connection, play, and the belief that every child deserves to be heard in their own way.

Following a thorough evaluation, Speech-Language Therapy supports your child’s ability to connect, express, and be understood by others through play-based, individualized care.
With a focus on articulation, language development, and gestalt language processing, sessions are designed to build confident communication in a way that feels natural and joyful.
